Book Review- Hot Money- Nevaeh

Name: Nevaeh
Book Review

Now that you have read your chosen chapter book, I want you to put on your critical hat and write a book review. A book review is review of a book that potential readers can read to figure out whether that book is something that they would like to read.
In your book review, you must include the following details.
  • The book’s title and author.
Hot Money By Bill Nagelkerke
  • A short summary of the plot (what happened) that doesn’t give away too much detail
Miles and August were mucking around at the heights one day, they were biking around suddenly   three robbers had just robbed a bank and went straight past heights .But when  they past heights they throw the money out of the window and landed it  right on Miles feet , he decided to put the money into the time capsule  and they left the shovel out which they weren’t supposed do, then they went back into class and the third robber digged up to get the money out of the time capsule . After that he tried to get away but he got caught when he drove a red light , when school finished  Miles went straight to the police station and made a statement  about he was the one with the money all that time ,then the hard part was Miles telling Gran and  Dad the truth.
  • What you liked and didn't like about the book with reasons. (I liked the main character in the book because . . . )
I’ll liked how that they keep the book interesting , my favorite part was when the action happened and the money got chucked out the window onto Miles  feet , my favourite character was August because he was the honest friend.
  • What age do you think this book is best suited to and explain why you think this. (I think this book is best suited to a 7 year old because I found it quite easy to read with simple words.)
This book is suited for 8 to 9 years old  because there were really challenging words. The story  will make them really entertain, not like little kids they wouldn’t understand it and older kids then 8 and 9 year olds will just think it’s boring.
