•FINAL DUE DATE – Friday 25 August, 2017
Choose a topic about something you are good at, or interested in to talk about.
• Prepare and publish a speech.
• You may research your topic on the internet, at the library, (school or town).
☯ Some things you will need to think about will include – Who? What? Where? When? Why and how? You may like to include a prop, poster or pictures.
✍Make sure you have written your main points on small note cards and have highlighted the important parts.
• Practice reading your speech to friends and family.
You will present your speech to the class with a two to three minute talk on your topic, during week 6.
You will be assessed by your self, a buddy and your teacher, using the following criteria-
1. Clear voice, easy to hear.

2. Vocal and facial expression

3. Eye contact and posture.
|
4. Interesting information.
|
5. Well prepared and learnt.
|
6. Used cards as prompt.
|
7. Props to show/poster/picture
|
8. Confident
